Sixth Anniversary: Songs of aspiration, achievement and celebration

  • Marymount University 2807 N Glebe Rd Arlington, VA, 22207 United States (map)

Six Degree Singers, Artistic Director Rachel Carlson, and Assistant Artistic Director Katelyn Aungst invite you to attend our upcoming concert series celebrating our Sixth Anniversary as an organization — featuring songs of aspiration, achievement and celebration! The program will premiere six new works by young American choral composers from around the nation — and each new commission will be paired with fantastic, familiar compositions for choir, including Samuel Barber’s “Under the Willow Tree,” Eric Whitacre’s “Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine” and Stephen Paulus’s “When Music Sounds.” We hope to see you there!

Buy tickets for this concert online here.

Special thanks to David T. Scott & Associates for their generous support for this concert series!
